Genesis 3:6

Genesis 3:6, When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.

I still hear the serpent’s hissing lies, convincing people they can find life without living God’s way. It gives me anger then grief and then sadness. Satan indirectly, seductively but deceitfully told our first parents, “you can do it yourselves; you can be self-sufficient; you really don’t need to follow God’s ways; you yourselves have everything it take; just do it!” For a moment there is energy and motivation and even excitement. But soon gravity wins and we are 6 feet under. Choice? see Jeremiah 6:16.
